Biggest Loser End and Couch to 5K Week 8 Begins

Today was the final weigh in for our Biggest Loser contest at work.  After sailing by with a lead for from the first week on, I was passed in the final week when my new nemesis Chris dropped 11 pounds in one week.  The end result was a second place finish.  I lost 35.2 pounds for 13% and change in 8 weeks.

A pound of that came from moving my Saturday run to this morning.  Ouch.  I wake up each morning as a zombie.  My limbs feel like they are made of lead, and it takes a lot of concentration to walk to the kitchen.  I downed a glass of water, changed and ran.  My pace fell :45 seconds per mile, and I covered the same distance in 28 minutes that I covered in 25 two days ago.

I'm just not a morning runner.  I expect a strong Week 8, Day 2 with an extra rest day and returning to my normal time.
